Van Campen Liem congratulates MNT-Halan on the successful closing of their US$ 157.5 million equity financing, led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the subsequent acquisition of Tam Finans, one of Turkey’s leading fintech’s, from EBRD and Actera

Mega Round

This latest funding round was led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and saw participation from Development Partners International (DPI), Lorax Capital Partners, Apis Partners, Lunate, and GB Corp. With this round, MNT-Halan has raised over US$ 630 million in equity and debt.

Tam Finans Acquisition

Commenting on the transaction, MNT-Halan’s Founder and CEO Mounir Nakhla said, “Today, MNT-Halan joins forces with Tam Finans to provide millions of businesses and consumers access to innovative financial services in Turkey.
