Benoit is advising GPs in the structuring and ongoing operations of AIFs, with a particular focus on PE (VC, growth, buyout), real estate, infrastructure and fund of funds. Benoit possesses specific expertise in regulatory matters, encompassing AML, ESG-related topics, as well as placement/fundraising regulations (providing legal assistance to support the selling efforts and the construction of distribution networks of asset managers across EEA and non-EEA jurisdictions). Furthermore, Benoit advises private and institutional LPs on their (primary, secondary and co-investment) transactions across the entire spectrum of AIF strategies as well as management companies and AIFMs on their establishment, strategic decisions and day-to-day operations. Benoit’s background includes training at a Magic Circle firm in Luxembourg and in London and establishing and managing a consulting funds team before joining Van Campen Liem in 2019
