Van Campen Liem congratulates Eleven Fund III Management with the closing of its Eleven Fund III which will bring €60 million of investments into South-Eastern Europe. The fund intends to support opportunities arising in the high-technology sector in the South Eastern Europe and shall initially invest in small to medium size entities at pre-seed and seed stage; it may also follow on in successful companies at seed, pre-series A and series A stage.

 In anticipation of the closing, Eleven Fund III Management B.V. already acquired its EuVECA label from the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (Autoriteit Financiele Markten) back in the fall of 2021.

Van Campen Liem acted for Thndr on their US$ 20mio financing round which was co-led by Tiger Global, Prosus Ventures and BECO Capital, with participation from other (existing) investors including 4DX Ventures, Endure Capital and Firstminute Capital.

Thndr, backed by Y Combinator, is a digital investment platform simplifying and democratizing investment in the MENA region. It is a digital, multi-language app, educating and empowering users to make their own investment decisions and take a stake in their own economies. Launched in late 2020 by Ahmad Hammouda and Seif Amr, Thndr secured the first brokerage license issued in Egypt since 2008 and is seeking to acquire a license with one of the GCC’s most prominent, progressive regulatory bodies.
