Van Campen Liem is pleased to announce the promotions of Rocío García-Santiuste and Eduardo Trancho as partners in the asset management and fund, and tax practices in Luxembourg.
Rocío García-Santiuste has been with the firm since 2015 advising clients on a full spectrum of alternative investment fund matters. She regularly assists sponsors on the structuring, establishment and commercial negotiations of their Luxembourg private equity and venture capital funds and co-investment vehicles, as well as carried interest and team investment structures. She also assists seed LPs on the structuring, operational issues and regulatory aspects of alternative investment funds, as well as on primary and secondary transactions. Rocío has a particular expertise in assisting GPs in their negotiations with DFI’s and other institutional investors and has extensive experience in advising and developing Spanish/Latin American clients and/or matters. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
Eduardo Trancho has been with the firm since 2016 as tax counsel specialized in international tax, M&A transactions, and alternative investment funds. He mainly advises private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, debt funds, co-investment vehicles and multinational companies in the structuring and implementation of cross-border transactions from a tax standpoint (both direct taxation and indirect taxation). He has extensive experience in the Iberian, European and Latin American markets. Eduardo is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
