Olga Gridina holds an LL.M. degree from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas in France, with a specialisation in European Union Law. Her LL.M degree is complemented by a Master’s degree in Commercial Law.
In her current position with Van Campen Liem, Olga specializes in the formation and ongoing advice to alternative investment funds, their promoters and investors. She is involved in the funds’ related regulatory, corporate and compliance matters, advises clients in respect of AIFMD aspects as well as their ESG matters.
Prior to joining Van Campen Liem, she worked for Intertrust Group, its Luxembourg-based PSF and AIFM. Olga was responsible for setting up various investment fund vehicles and contractual arrangements. She also performed compliance work, managed marketing and passporting arrangements under AIFMD as well as other communications with the regulators. In addition, she served a focal point on ESG and marketing matters.
Before joining Intertrust in 2018, Olga worked for a CEE-based law firm for five years as Legal Associate working in the fields of corporate, investment and contract law and litigation representing international clients. In addition to her corporate experience, she worked with one of the United Nations (UN) offices in the field of public law responsible for public reporting, lobbying and negotiations between the UN and Member States.
While a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker, Olga is fluent in English and has a working proficiency in French.
