Your Role:
As an AML-Analyst (CDD-Compliance Officer), you will play a key role in ensuring our firm complies with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws and regulations. You will be responsible for conducting client due diligence (CDD), assessing compliance risks. With your expertise, you will strengthen our compliance framework and contribute to the firm’s reputation as a trusted partner in the investment sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CDD in a truly risk-based approach for new and existing clients.
- Assess and monitor money laundering, terrorist finance, sanctions and reputational risk, identifying potential red flags and escalating where necessary.
- Conduct ongoing client monitoring.
- Assist or initiate the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Support regulatory reporting and liaise with external regulatory bodies when required.
- Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations.
About you:
- At least 3 years of experience as a CDD analyst in a law firm, financial institution or business in a comparable industry.
- You know how to activate lawyers and clients to deliver the relevant information for RBA CDD and act as an ambassador towards clients.
- You understand the risk profile and interests of a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and European AML regulations including the Wwft, requirements of the Dutch law Bar and notaries’Bureau Financieel Toezicht.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess compliance risks and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- You have tenacity and a positive mind-set.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
