Manfred is a German qualified lawyer who has practiced in Luxembourg for the last 12 years at the firms of Loyens & Loeff and Arendt as well as within the investment fund industry, having headed the investment fund engineering and corporate department of Hauck & Aufhäuser Investment Gesellschaft S.A.

In particular, Manfred is involved in advising EU and non-EU investment managers on the implementation and compliance with the new EU AIFM Directive in Luxembourg. He will strengthen this key area of expertise of the firm together with AIFMD expert Maurits Tausk who is leading the investment fund practice in Amsterdam.
