Van Campen Liem advises Mobileye N.V. in $400million equity raise

Van Campen Liem has advised Mobileye N.V. on its most recent equity raise of $400 million USD, closed on August 22, 2013. Investors are funds managed by BlackRock, Fidelity and Wellington, as well as Hong-Kong based Sailing Capital, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The equity round values Mobileye N.V. at approximately $ 1.5 billion USD. The transaction includes a mix of primary and secondary placement of shares. Van Campen Liem, whose lawyers have provided assistance to Mobileye N.V. since 2007 on all of its equity raises, was the Dutch counsel to Mobileye N.V. on the transaction, with Morrison & Foerster acting as U.S. counsel. Tom Mitchell, Marc van Campen and Nicole van Smaalen led the team of Van Campen Liem in the transaction while the Morrison & Foerster transaction team was led by Jim Tanenbaum and Nilene Evans. Counsel to the investors and to certain existing Mobileye shareholders included Goodwin Procter, Greenberg Traurig, O’Melveny & Myers, Nauta Dutilh and Stibbe. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley acted as financial advisors to Mobileye in the transaction.
