Regulatory and Compliance Lawyer
Bas focuses on funds, fund managers, investment firms, crowdfunding and the crypto domain in the context of regulatory matters. He advises regarding governance, policies and legal requirements for financial firms. His broad and in-depth experience covers license applications, DNOs, project management, suitability assessments of board and supervisory board members, AML, SFDR, legal qualifications and handling of supervisory investigations on clients. He holds a post-graduate certification in securities law (Grotius Radboud University) and was educated by the Erasmus University and Georgia State (USA). Bas is a certified compliance officer and our Head of Compliance (Amsterdam and Luxembourg).
